I had a feeling the setup wouldn’t be as complicated as I was making it out to be, and I was right. Got it up and running quickly without much hassle.

I gave it 4 stars because it’s simple to cast and it goes out smoothly most of the time. It took me a few tries to trust my instinct and get the distance right, but once I got a feel for it, it worked just fine. The app connected okay too. It’s not perfect, but for a normal day of fishing, it’s easy enough to use

I do most of my fishing from the bank, and this little sonar has actually been a big help. Being able to check the depth and spot where the drop-offs are makes it feel like I’m not just casting blindly, you know? I’ve definitely wasted fewer casts since using it. The battery has been solid for me so far too. Overall, I’m happy with it.

I’ve used the Deeper sonar a few times from the bank, and overall it connects without much fuss. The thing that gets me is the casting range, some days it’s fine, but if there’s any wind, it starts feeling hit or miss.
It’s handy on smaller lakes, but I expected to be able to reach a little farther with it. When I can’t get it out where I want, I feel kind of trapped on the shoreline, like I’m stuck guessing. It’s not a bad product, just not as impressive as I’d hoped.

I’ve been tossing this in my bag whenever I head out and it’s been really handy because it doesn’t take up much space, it’s light enough that I barely notice it’s there, and whenever I need it, it works just fine without any fuss

From what I remember using it on my phone, the data refreshed quickly and I didn’t run into any weird lag while checking different spots. It felt smooth overall.

I’ve used it a handful of times in the rain and around splashes, and so far it’s been totally fine. It actually felt like a small win not having to stress about it getting wet while I was out. The seal seems solid, and I haven’t had any issues yet. I’m giving it 4 stars only because I’d still be a little nervous using it for a long time in really rough water.

Updated my Deeper sonar firmware today, it went way easier than I expected. The app found the device quickly and didn’t throw any weird errors at me, which was a nice change. Took only a few minutes, so I’ve got to give it credit this time...

I picked up Deeper mostly because I wanted a better idea of what the bottom looks like in the places I fish from the bank. It’s been really useful for showing drop-offs, harder bottom, and weed edges clearly. it also made me realize some of my slow days were probably just bad timing, because the spots actually looked better than the bite suggested.
It took me a few sessions to get comfortable reading everything, but once it clicked, it started making a lot more sense. The app has worked fine for me, and the maps are handy to look back on. So far I’m really happy with it, even if the fish haven’t always cooperated when I happened to be there.

It’s been solid for me. Hasn’t crashed once yet, which is kinda rare these days lol

Overall, the app is easy to use. Like, I didn’t have to overthink where stuff was or anything. The only rough part is the maps can load kind of slow sometimes, so you’re just sitting there waiting a bit. Not a huge deal, but it’s noticeable.

I had some trouble getting my sonar paired, but support replied the same day and walked me through it. Turned out to be easy once they explained it. Appreciate the help!

It arrived quicker than expected, which was a nice surprise. Everything was fine overall, nothing to complain about, and even if there were a tiny hiccup, the fast delivery more than made up for it. Thanks!

I’ve used it a few times for mapping and overall it works decent. The GPS points aren’t always exactly spot on, though, so like I said, I usually double check the spots before relying on them too much. It’s not bad or anything, just not perfect. For casual fishing it gets the job done, but like I said, don’t expect it to be 100% accurate every time...

I was a little worried it might drop out, but it stayed connected the whole time without any issues. Just a heads up if you're on the fence because of connection concerns, I didn’t run into any problems at all.

I think the subscription is worth it, for what you get. It’s not perfect, and I do wish the monthly price was a little cheaper, but overall, it saves me time, and it works well enough for my fishing trips.

It does work, and for what I needed, I feel like it’s okay since I’m only using it for ice fishing here and there. The main issue is the battery just doesn’t hold up as well as I expected, especially in the cold. I wouldn’t say it’s terrible, but I’m glad I didn’t buy it expecting all-day performance.

I’ve taken my Deeper sonar out on a few trips now, the depth readings have been close to what I expected. The fish marks and bottom changes show up clearly enough, even when I’m casting from the bank. It’s not perfect on every single cast, but it’s definitely better than just guessing. It even helped me find a drop-off I had no idea was there. Overall I’m happy with it so far, though if the occasional missed reading keeps happening, I’d expect Deeper to make it right somehow.

I’ve been using this screen outdoors a lot, and I was surprised by how clear it stays. I don’t have to squint nearly as much as I expected, even in brighter light. Overall, I’m happy with it.

Not gonna lie, it works fine overall, but I was expecting a bit more for the price. It does the job, just doesn’t really feel like the best value
